Kings Island Dinasaur Scene LIst

SCENE 01: PACK ATTACK

The serenitude of the grazing Hadrosaurs is disrupted. A group of Deinonychus hunt and take down an Iguanodon. A fourth Deinonychus comes to join the fray.

SCENE 02: FLASH FLOOD

At the bottom of the hill, guests cross the creek on a small foot bridge. As they come around the corner, they see a group of Pachyrhinosaurus attempt to cross a river. The dinosaurs are swept up by a flash flood and perish. The second segment of the scene shows the perished dinosaurs and the third segment show the skull and bones. The scene is based on a fossil bed in Alberta and shows the timeline of life, death & fossilization.

SCENE 03: GRAZING SAUROPODS

Did you know that there was never an actual dinosaur called Brontosaurus? You will find out why when you come across the dinosaurs in this area. Grazing sauropods features long neck dinosaurs grazing on the tops of trees as they look out over the Jurassic forest setting.

SCENE 04: PREDATOR TRAP

Based on the findings at the Cleveland Lloyd Quarry in Utah. Juvenile Allosaurus get stuck in the mud of a water hole. Other Allosaurus are drawn to their thrashing and prey on them. A juvenile stegosaurus also gets stuck in the mud and tries to escape, while mother and sibling look on. A much larger Allosaurus comes down the hill to check out the commotion.

SCENE 05: KIDS DIG SITE PRESENTED BY TERRA NOVA

Across the path from the Ruyangosaurus is a large kids dig site presented by TERRA NOVA, containing most of a full skeleton of a large predator. The dig site is contoured to appear as if it were found in the park at Kings Island. Guests are encouraged to uncover the skeleton, which is covered in sand.

The Steven Spielberg-produced dinosaur-drama “TERRA NOVA” will be one of the most visually stimulating and dramatically grand series to air on network television when the show debuts this fall on FOX. The epic family adventure series follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race.

SCENE 06: T-REX FIGHT

A wide eyed Triceratops barrels down the slope as it is about to be taken down by a juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex, as a smaller one makes it away. In close pursuit are an impressive 18m adult T-Rex and it’s other smaller offspring.

I agree, this info should NOT be posted on a public forum IMHO. Should it get re-posted on a forum like SLICKDEALS it would only be a matter of time before Kings Island pulls the offer. Perhaps the "new user" was a Ford employee, this was his/her opportunity to call the Hall or sign up for the Local's email list. I urge you to remove the info.

If you had taken one more second to look at my status on the left you would have noticed this "new member" joined the forum in August of 2008. Do you actually think we are the only large corporation that gets a discount to Kings Island? Thanks to Tony V. for the info. This thread with this classified info will self destruct in one hour!!
